Abagail is amazing. My husband and I couldn't have done our vow renewal without her. We even booked her after we'd done a lot. I'd already picked and booked a venue, gotten a dress, bought some fake flowers to arrange, found an officiant, picked where I wanted to get food catered from and where I wanted to order my cake. It was hard to know how to wrap it all together and I hadn't actually contacted either food place yet. There were also things I'd overlooked.

Realizing that I still lacked someone to oversee the day, when I saw that Connie (the owner of our venue, Starlight Meadows) recommend Abagail, I decided to reach out. Right away I was impressed with how kind and friendly Abagail was. She has an amazing smile and reassuring personality that right away started to put me at ease.

In our first meeting she helped me realizing I hadn't thought about music. My husband and I had barely given it a thought and I didn't realize that a DJ doesn't just play the music, but also makes the announcements and helps direct people. At this point my budget was a little more limited, but she was able to help me find someone within it. I'm so glad I followed her advice and got a DJ.

She also reached out to both Olive Garden and Cold Stone (the food places I'd picked) to learn what we needed to do to successfully order food from them. I hadn't even thought of asking Cold Stone about decorating my cake and if they had other options besides just cake, but Abagail asked for me. This lead to me having a beautifully decorated cake along with stunning ice cream cupcakes with flowers in my colors on top of them.

Abagail was so supportive of my husband and I and our ideas. She never made me feel judged, but instead showed genuine excitement for what we wanted to do. I clicked really well with her and enjoyed interacting with her. By the time our vow renewal happened, I felt like I'd just gained another friend at my event. Even though I hadn't met her assistant, Teralynn, before the event, I soon found her to also be really kind, hard working, and a pleasure to have around.

Abagail is the perfect event planner. Not only is she very friendly, but she's on top of everything and kept me on track. She is great at moving things forward while also not making it super stressful. Without her help, I know I would have been way more stressed. I’m so grateful that I was able to work with her. She helped make my dream come true and I'll forever be grateful for that.

Our wedding day didn’t unfold perfectly — some bumps are bound to happen. The weather forced a few changes, and there were some day-of hiccups as our vendors enacted our vision — but this is where Elaborate Events really came through for us. Abagail and her assistant stayed calm, coordinated with our vendors, and handled every adjustment so we could stay present and enjoy our day without feeling any of the stress she was managing for us. So even with the shift in plans, everything worked out beautifully.

Abagail protected the heart of the day and we’re incredibly thankful for her steady presence, her professionalism, and the care she poured into making our wedding truly special.

My wife and I met Abagail while she was helping my wife’s sister and brother in law with their wedding. She did an amazing job planning and coordinating the whole thing. So well in fact after I proposed to my wife we knew from the start we’d enlist the help of Abagail and Elaborate Events.

I can say without any hesitation Abagail had her work cut out with us as her clients. We both have very busy work schedules and are both lacking in the imagination and decorating abilities. We knew what we wanted (thank you Pinterest) but had no idea how to make it a reality. Abagail’s attention to detail, patience, positivity and encouragement really kept us on track and in high spirits. At times wedding planning is stressful and overwhelming. Abagail went above and beyond both recognizing when we were overwhelmed and then coming to the rescue to ensure the entire process, planning, set up, the event itself and tear down went smoothly and with minimal effort or stress on us, the bride and groom.

Abigail was absolutely fantastic! I always thought I would be one of those people who never had anything go wrong on their wedding day, but when my bakery showed up delivering only the cupcakes and not the cake, Abigail was on it immediately.

She was also a breath of fresh air when everything started feeling completely overwhelming. My husband and I aren’t big social people, so having a wedding was a dream but also mentally exhausting. Abigail did a wonderful job checking in to make sure we were eating, taking quiet moments, and most of all, having fun.

She truly made the day, and I would hire her again in an instant. My wedding could have been a huge mess if it weren’t for her keeping us on track and accountable to get things done (I literally was finishing my wedding shoes the morning of—oops!).
